{wanderlust} tokyo

Can we pretend that it didn't take me more than three months to finish recapping our Japan trip? Our final stop was Tokyo, where Ben attended a conference and I ran through the gardens surrounding the imperial palace, ate ramen, ramen and more ramen, and took classes on both sushi making and Japanese home cooking.
We also made time for a walking tour of the city and must-see sights like Senso-ji, the Meji Shrine, Harajuku, and more.
Our final day was spent at Tokyo's famous Tsukiji fish market. While we didn't get there at 3am to catch the tuna auctions, we still saw plenty of exotic sea creatures. We also lined up for an amazing sushi breakfast at Daiwa. Tokyo was interesting, delicious, and far easier to navigate than I had anticipated. A wonderful end to our Japan adventure!
