Tuesday has long since come and gone, and once again, I'm late in posting last week's TWD recipe. But that's all about to change. Because tomorrow, I am starting a (temporary) new job. For the next four months, I am going to be working for a legal aid organization representing tenants in housing court. I'm going to be helping people. I'm going to be learning new things. I'm going to be getting really great experience. And I'm going to be leaving the office at 6:30 every night. In other words, I'm going to have a lot more free time on my hands. And I plan to spend much of it baking.
Baking things like these tender shortcakes, which are the perfect summer dessert. Instead of sweetened whipped cream, I paired mine with homemade strawberry frozen yogurt.
