Something that has also been well documented: my complete inability to exercise any sort of portion control when serving myself slices of cake. So when I heard that this recipe was getting rave reviews from other TWD members, I decided that it would be safer to make it into individually portioned muffins.
Thanks to Sihan of Befuddlement for this week's pick. You can find the receipe, which would be fantastic for an Easter brunch, on her blog.

I could live on the topping, too. And you were smart to make muffins. I need to do that next time. Great job!
i'm with you on that topping. looks great. i should probably do muffins next time too so I can control myself.
Great job! Your muffins look awesome. I practice portion control by giving away most of what I bake to family/friends/neighbors :)
nice blog.

This was really delicious and was breakfast for us more than once!
This is the perfect recipe for me - I am with you on having dessert for breakfast, and I also may have lived on crumb topping alone for days at a time (after a particularly enthusiastic day of coffee cake baking). This looks delicious, and the photos are great!
Making muffins was a great idea! They look wonderful!
Now I know what I am making tomorrow! These look incredible! I cant resist!
Oh, those look wonderful. I am trying to halve the recipes and make them lower sugar
Your first photo is absolutely gorgeous! Very stylish and the crumb cake looks awesome.
